Personality types
Every person in life is different from
others. Everything about a person is what makes them unique. Every person is
different and so does their personality which define them as their stage of
development in their lives. F. Scott Fitzgerald once says ‘Personality is an
unbroken series of successful gestures.’ Therefore, personality is what makes
the person who they are and what will they be. There are 5 main types of
personalities that can mostly defines the attitude and behavior of a person,
which is extrovert, introvert, optimist, pessimist and artistic.
First and foremost, let’s see the first
type of person, which is the extroverts. What exactly is an extrovert? Well, on
the positive side, we can described them as talkative, sociable, enthusiastic,
friendly and out – going. This is because extroverts tend to have a wide circle
of friends. They love to talk and meet new people to widen their social circle.
That’s why people will find it easier to approach extroverts as they are always
cheerful all the time. Another thing is that extroverts are typically very open
and willing to share their inner feelings and thought to others. This makes
people to find it easy to get to know them. On the negative side, extroverts
are sometimes easily distracted, like to seek attention and unable to spend
time alone. They feel energised and inspired when socialising with other
people, which make them unable to spend time alone. In short, they are known as
‘social butterflies’.
Second one is the introverts, which is
the exact opposite personality of extroverts. Introverts are more focus
internal feelings rather than external outside sources. They are usually the
quiet ones that rarely interact with other people. This is because an introvert
is more concerned about inner feelings and thoughts. They like to think rather
than socialising, which makes them a loner. Other than that, meeting new people
is also a difficult test for introverts because they are socially reserved and
prefer to stay home and read a book rather than going to a big event. But, do not mistake them,
introverts also enjoy socialising, but in a small group with their closest
friend. They prefer a deep and close relationships with others. On the bright side,
introverts can focus more on their hobbies and interests as they have all the
time as they need. On the contrary, They will also become your most dependable
friends once you earn their trust. The idiom “Friend in need is a friend
indeed” suits best for these people.
The third personality is the
optimist, also known as the happy ones. Jason Wachob once says, “Children are
born optimists and over the time, life happens.” We are the purest and happiest
during our childhood times. Optimist is a type of person which is hopeful and
always look on the bright side. They express gratitude to the smallest things
in life and smile all the time. They are also adventurous, courageous and love
challenges. They know that every problem comes with a solution, nothing can
stop them from achieving their goals. Furthermore, optimists can also make
quick decisions to control the situations around them. We can
conclude that they are much likely born to be leaders in the future.
The forth personality type is the
pessimist. Pessimist is very different from the optimist. They are more likely
same like the introverts. Pessimists are cautious people. They always observe
the surroundings and peoples to analyse theirs thoughts. It is actually not a
bad thing. But it will makes them a worrier and lack confidence all the time.
They are also easily hurt by others and very concerned about what others think
of them. One bad thoughts can easily makes them cry for a week. However,
pessimists are often intuitive. They understand and capable of perceive others.
Lastly, the artistic one. These
people are the special ones. They are creative, talented and fashionable. They
appreciate beauty and interesting events around them. Artistic person love a
glamorous lifestyle which satisfy them in their own ways. Besides, they are
independent person which carry out their work automatically. They are also
patient and gentle but have the tendency to daydream. This makes them very
special compare to the other four personality.
In conclusion, personalities reflect
ones specialty and attitudes. Every one of them is unique in their own ways. As
we all know, each personality leads to a different kinds of future. We as a
human individuals should understand our personality and proceed life in the
